পরিচ্ছেদঃ ৩২০ : রাজা বা অন্য কোন নেতৃস্থানীয় মানুষকে ‘রাজাধিরাজ’ বলা হারাম। কেননা, মহান আল্লাহ ব্যতীত ঐ গুণে কেউ গুণান্বিত হতে পারে না
১/১৭৩৩। আবূ হুরাইরা রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, ’’আল্লাহ আয্যা অজাল্লার নিকট নিকৃষ্টতম নাম সেই ব্যক্তির, যে নিজের নাম রাখে রাজাধিরাজ।’’ (বুখারী ও মুসলিম)[1]
’সুফয়ান ইবনে উয়াইনা বলেন, ’মালিকুল আমলাক’ যেমন ’শাহানশাহ’।
(320) بَابُ تَحْرِيْمِ قَوْلِهِ شَاهَنْشَاهْ لِلسُّلْطَانِ وَغَيْرِهِ لِأَنَّ مَعْنَاهُ مَلِكُ الْمُلُوْكِ، وَلَا يُوْصَفُ بِذٰلِكَ غَيْرُ اللهِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالٰى
وَعَنْ أَبي هُرَيرَةَ رضي الله عنه عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: «إِنَّ أَخْنَعَ اسْمٍ عِنْدَ اللهِ ـ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ـ رَجُلٌ تَسَمَّى مَلِكَ الأَمْلاَكِ» . متفق عليه . قال سُفيانُ بن عُيَيْنَةَ : «مَلِكُ الأَمْلاَكِ» مِثْلُ : شَاهِنْ شَاهِ
(320) Chapter: Prohibition of Addressing somebody as 'The King of Kings'
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The most disgraceful man near Allah is a man who calls himself (or likes others to call him) Malikul-Amlak (i.e., king of kings)."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary: Allah appreciates humility and humbleness and abhors pride and haughtiness. To arrogate to oneself the title of `The king of kings' reflects pride and not humility and is, therefore, forbidden. Moreover, this is an Exclusive Attribute of Allah and it is unjust to associate it with any one else.
