পরিচ্ছেদঃ ২৫৭ : চুগলী (চুগলখুরী) করা হারাম
মানুষের মাঝে ফ্যাসাদ ও শত্রুতা সৃষ্টি করার উদ্দেশ্যে বলা কথা লাগিয়ে দেওয়াকে ’চুগলি করা’ বলে।
মহান আল্লাহ বলেন,
﴿هَمَّازٍ مَشَّاءٍ بِنَمِيمٍ﴾ [القلم: ١١]
অর্থাৎ [অনুসরণ করো না তার যে --- পশ্চাতে নিন্দাকারী, যে একের কথা অপরের নিকট লাগিয়ে বেড়ায়। (সূরা নূন ১১ আয়াত)
﴿ مَا يَلْفِظُ مِنْ قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ﴾ [ق: ١٨]
অর্থাৎ মানুষ যে কথাই উচ্চারণ করে [তা লিপিবদ্ধ করার জন্য] তৎপর প্রহরী তার নিকটেই রয়েছে। (সূরা ক্বা-ফ ১৮ আয়াত)
১/১৫৪৪। হুযাইফা রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, ’’চুগলখোর জান্নাতে যাবে না।’’ (বুখারী ও মুসলিম) [1]
(257) بَابُ تَحْرِيْمِ النَّمِيْمَةِ وَهِيَ نَقْلُ الْكَلَامِ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ عَلٰى جِهَةِ الْإِفْسَادِ
وعَنْ حذَيْفَةَ رضي اللَّه عنهُ قالَ : قال رسُولُ اللَّه صَلّى االلهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم : » لا يَدْخُلُ الجنةَ نمَّامٌ«متفقٌ عليه
(257) Chapter: Prohibition of Calumny
Allah, the Exalted, says:
"A slanderer, going about with calumnies.'' (68:11)
"Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it).'' (50:18)
Hudhaifah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The person who goes about with calumnies will never enter Jannah."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary: A person who thinks that talebearing is lawful, and practices it to create conflict and quarrel amongpeople despite the fact that he knows it is unanimously forbidden, will never go to Jannah. A person who considersit unlawful but does it out of sheer human weakness, will in the first instance go to Hell, if Allah does not pardonhim for it. He will then be shifted to Jannah after suffering punishment for it.
