পরিচ্ছেদঃ ১১০: কোন সীমিত খাবারে অনেক মানুষের হাত পড়লে বরকত হয়
২/৭৬০। জাবের রাদিয়াল্লাহু ’আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামকে বলতে শুনেছি যে, ’’একজনের খাবার দু’জনের জন্য যথেষ্ট এবং দু’জনের খাবার চারজনের জন্য যথেষ্ট, আর চারজনের খাবার আটজনের জন্য যথেষ্ট।’’ (মুসলিম) [1]
(110) بَابُ تَكْثِيْرِ الْأَيْدِيْ عَلَى الطَّعَامِ
وَعَن جَابِرٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى الله عليه وسلم، يَقُولُ: « طَعَامُ الوَاحِدِ يَكْفِي الاِثْنَيْنِ، وَطَعَامُ الاِثْنَيْنِ يَكْفِي الأَرْبَعَةَ، وَطَعَامُ الأَرْبَعَةِ يَكْفِي الثَّمَانِيَةَ ». رواه مسلم
(110) Chapter: Merit of Sharing Food
Jabir bin 'Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The food of one person suffices for two, the food of two persons suffices for four persons, and the food of four persons suffices for eight persons."
[Muslim].
Commentary: This Hadith indicates that if a few persons share the same dinner-table, a small quantity of food will be enough for many persons. Moreover, this increases mutual love and fellow-feeling. A detailed light has already been shed on this topic in Chapter No. 62. See Hadith No. 565.
