কাফিরদের উপর,

কোন প্রতিরোধকারী

مِّنَ

ٱلْمَعَارِجِ
ঊর্ধ্বারোহণের সোপানসমূহের অধিকারী
(of) the ways of ascent

تَعْرُجُ
চড়ে

ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
ফেরেশতাগণ

وَٱلرُّوحُ
ও রূহ(জিবরাঈল)

إِلَيْهِ
তাকে
to Him

فِى
মধ্যে

يَوْمٍ
একদিনের

مِقْدَارُهُۥ
তার পরিমাপ

خَمْسِينَ
পঞ্চাশ (হয়)

فَٱصْبِرْ
সুতরাং, ধৈর্য ধরুন
So be patient

صَبْرًا
ধৈর্য

جَمِيلًا
উত্তম

إِنَّهُمْ
তারা নিশ্চয়
Indeed they

يَرَوْنَهُۥ
তা দেখে
see it

بَعِيدًا
বহুদূরে
(as) far off

وَنَرَىٰهُ
কিন্তু আমরা তা দেখেছি
But We see it

قَرِيبًا
নিকটে
near
near

يَوْمَ
সেদিন
(The) Day -

تَكُونُ
হবে
will be

ٱلسَّمَآءُ
আকাশ
the sky

كَٱلْمُهْلِ
গলিত ধাতুর মত,
like molten copper

وَتَكُونُ
এবং হবে
And will be

ٱلْجِبَالُ
পর্বতসমূহ
the mountains

كَٱلْعِهْنِ
রঙিন পশমের মত,
like wool
like wool

وَلَا
এবং না
And not
And not
يَسْـَٔلُ
জিজ্ঞাসা করবে
will ask
will ask
حَمِيمٌ
কোন বন্ধু
a friend
a friend
حَمِيمًا
বন্ধুকে
(of) a friend

يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ
তাদেরকে দেখানো হবে
They will be made to see each other
They will be made to see each other
يَوَدُّ
ইচ্ছা করবে
Would wish
Would wish
ٱلْمُجْرِمُ
অপরাধী

لَوْ
যদি

يَفْتَدِى
মুক্তিপন দিতে পারত
he (could be) ransomed

مِنْ

يَوْمِئِذٍۭ

بِبَنِيهِ
তার সন্তানদের দ্বারা

وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ
এবং তার স্ত্রী

وَأَخِيهِ
এবং তার ভাই,

وَفَصِيلَتِهِ
আর তার জ্ঞাতি-গোষ্ঠীকে
And his nearest kindred

ٱلَّتِى
যা

تُـْٔوِيهِ
তাকে আশ্রয় দেয়
sheltered him

وَمَن
এবং যা
And whoever

فِى
মধ্যে্

সবকিছুই

كَلَّآ
অবশ্যই নহে!

إِنَّهَا
নিশ্চয় তা

লেলিহান আগুন
surely a Flame of Hell

نَزَّاعَةً
লেহনকারী

لِّلشَّوَىٰ
চামড়াকে
of the skin of the head

تَدْعُوا۟
আহবান করে

مَنْ

أَدْبَرَ
পিঠ প্রদর্শন করে

وَتَوَلَّىٰ
ও মুখ ফিরিয়ে

وَجَمَعَ
এবং জমা করেছে

فَأَوْعَىٰٓ
অতঃপর তা সংরক্ষিত রেখেছে

নিশ্চয়

মানুষকে

সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে

هَلُوعًا
অস্থির

إِذَا
কখন

مَسَّهُ
তাকে স্পর্শ করে
touches him

ٱلشَّرُّ
মন্দ,
the evil

جَزُوعًا
দুর্দশাগ্রস্ত.
