পক্ষ হতে

ٱلْعَزِيزِ
(যিনি) পরাক্রমশালী

ٱلْحَكِيمِ
মহাবিজ্ঞ
the All-Wise

مَا
না

خَلَقْنَا
আমরা সৃষ্টি করেছি
We created
We created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
আকাশ
the heavens
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضَ
আর (না)পৃথিবীকে
and the earth
and the earth
وَمَا
এবং যা কিছু (আছে)
and what
and what
بَيْنَهُمَآ
উভয়ের মাঝে
(is) between both of them
(is) between both of them
إِلَّا
ব্যতীত
except
except
بِٱلْحَقِّ
যথাযথভাবে
in truth
in truth
وَأَجَلٍ
এবং একটা সময়ের (জন্যে)
and (for) a term

مُّسَمًّى
সুনির্দিষ্ট

وَٱلَّذِينَ
কিন্তু যারা

كَفَرُوا۟
অস্বীকার করেছে

عَمَّآ
সে সম্পর্কে যার

أُنذِرُوا۟
তাদেরকে সতর্ক করা হয়েছে

مُعْرِضُونَ
(তা হতে) তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়েছে

"তোমরা কি (ভেবে) দেখেছ

আমাকে দেখাও

তারা সৃষ্টি করেছে

তাদের জন্যে আছে

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
আকাশসমূহের

ٱئْتُونِى
আমার কাছে আন

কোন বই নিয়ে (এর সমর্থনে)

مِّن

أَوْ

أَثَٰرَةٍ
ঐতিহ্যগত

مِّنْ
কোনো

عِلْمٍ
জ্ঞান

إِن
যদি

كُنتُمْ
তোমরা হও

صَٰدِقِينَ
সত্যবাদী"
truthful"

وَمَنْ
এবং কে

أَضَلُّ
অধিক বিভ্রান্ত (হতে পারে)
(is) more astray

مِمَّن
তার চেয়ে যে

يَدْعُوا۟
ডাকে

মধ্য হতে

دُونِ
ছাড়া

ٱللَّهِ

(এমন সত্তাকে) যা

ডাকে সাড়া দেবে

لَهُۥٓ

ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
কিয়ামতের

وَهُمْ
এবং তারা

সম্বন্ধে

دُعَآئِهِمْ
তাদের প্রার্থনা
their calls
their calls
غَٰفِلُونَ
অনবহিত
(are) unaware
(are) unaware
৬
وَإِذَا
এবং যখন
And when

حُشِرَ
একত্র করা হবে
are gathered
are gathered
ٱلنَّاسُ
সব মানুষকে
the people
the people
كَانُوا۟
তারা হবে
they will be
they will be
لَهُمْ
তাদের জন্যে
for them
for them
أَعْدَآءً
শত্রু
enemies
enemies
وَكَانُوا۟
এবং তারা হবে
and they will be
and they will be
بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ
তাদের উপাসনা সম্বন্ধে
of their worship
of their worship
كَٰفِرِينَ
অস্বীকারকারী
deniers
deniers
৭
وَإِذَا
এবং যখন
And when
And when
تُتْلَىٰ
আবৃত্তি করা হয়
are recited

عَلَيْهِمْ
তাদের নিকট
to them
to them
ءَايَٰتُنَا
আমাদের আয়াতগুলোকে

সুস্পষ্ট

তাদের কাছে এসেছে

(is) a magic

তারা বলে

"সে তা রচনা করেছে"

ٱفْتَرَيْتُهُۥ
তা আমি রচনা করে থাকি

তোমরা সক্ষম

আমাকে (রক্ষা করতে)

তোমরা আলোচনা করে বেড়াচ্ছ

যে সম্বন্ধে

كَفَىٰ
(তিনিই) যথেষ্ট

আমার মাঝে

"তোমরা (ভেবে) দেখেছ কি

وَكَفَرْتُم
আর তোমরা অস্বীকার করছ (তবে কি পরিণতি হবে)

بِهِۦ
তা

وَشَهِدَ
এবং সাক্ষ্য দিয়েছে

شَاهِدٌ
একজন সাক্ষী
a witness

مِّنۢ
মধ্য হতে

بَنِىٓ

إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

عَلَىٰ
উপর

مِثْلِهِۦ
তার অনুরূপ (কালামের)

فَـَٔامَنَ
এরপরে সে ঈমান আনল

وَٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ
অথচ তোমরা অহংকার করলে"
while you are arrogant?"

নিশ্চয়ই

পথ দেখান

সম্প্রদায়কে

সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী

وَقَالَ
এবং বলে

ٱلَّذِينَ
যারা
those who
those who
كَفَرُوا۟
অস্বীকার করেছে
disbelieve
disbelieve
لِلَّذِينَ
(তাদের)-কে যারা
of those who
of those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
ঈমান এনেছে
believe
believe
لَوْ
"যদি
"If
"If
كَانَ
হতো
it had been
it had been
خَيْرًا
উত্তম
good
good
مَّا
না
not
not
سَبَقُونَآ
তারা আমাদের আগে যেতে পারত
they (would) have preceded us
they (would) have preceded us
إِلَيْهِ
তার প্রতি"
to it"

وَإِذْ
এবং যখন

يَهْتَدُوا۟
পথ পায়
they (are) guided

بِهِۦ
তার দ্বারা

فَسَيَقُولُونَ
তখন অচিরেই তারা বলবেই

إِفْكٌ
মিথ্যা
(is) a lie

قَدِيمٌ
পুরাতন"

وَمِن
এবং

قَبْلِهِۦ
তার পূর্বে

كِتَٰبُ
কিতাব (এসেছে)
(was the) Scripture

مُوسَىٰٓ

إِمَامًا
পথ প্রদর্শক
(as) a guide
(as) a guide
وَرَحْمَةً
ও অনুগ্রহ (স্বরূপ)
and a mercy
and a mercy
وَهَٰذَا
এবং এই
And this
And this
كِتَٰبٌ
কিতাব
(is) a Book
(is) a Book
مُّصَدِّقٌ
(তার) সত্যায়নকারী/ সমর্থক

لِّسَانًا
ভাষায়
(in) language
(in) language
عَرَبِيًّا
আরবী

لِّيُنذِرَ
যেন সতর্ক করে

ٱلَّذِينَ
(তাদেরকে) যারা

ظَلَمُوا۟
যুলুম করেছে

وَبُشْرَىٰ
এবং সুসংবাদ (দেয়)
and (as) a glad tidings

لِلْمُحْسِنِينَ
সৎকর্মশীলদের জন্যে
for the good-doers
for the good-doers

إِنَّ
নিশ্চয়ই

ٱلَّذِينَ
যারা

قَالُوا۟
বলে

رَبُّنَا
"আমাদের রব

ٱللَّهُ
আল্লাহই"

ثُمَّ
এরপর

ٱسْتَقَٰمُوا۟
তারা অবিচল থাকে

فَلَا
নেইতখন
then no

خَوْفٌ
কোনো ভয়
fear

عَلَيْهِمْ
তাদের উপর
on them
on them
وَلَا
আর না
and nor
and nor
هُمْ
তারা
they
they
يَحْزَنُونَ
দুঃখিত হবে
will grieve
will grieve
১৪
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
ঐসব লোক
Those

أَصْحَٰبُ
অধিবাসী (হবে)
(are the) companions
(are the) companions
ٱلْجَنَّةِ
জান্নাতের
(of) Paradise
(of) Paradise
خَٰلِدِينَ
তারা চিরস্থায়ী হবে
abiding forever
abiding forever
فِيهَا
তার মধ্যে
therein
therein
جَزَآءًۢ
পুরস্কার
a reward
a reward
بِمَا
বিনিময়ে যা
for what
for what
كَانُوا۟
তারা ছিল
they used (to)
they used (to)
يَعْمَلُونَ
তারা কাজ করে

do
১৫
وَوَصَّيْنَا
এবং আমরা নির্দেশ দিয়েছি
And We have enjoined
And We have enjoined
ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ
মানুষকে
(on) man
(on) man
بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ
তার পিতামাতার সাথে
to his parents
to his parents
إِحْسَٰنًا
ভালো ব্যবহারের
kindness
kindness
حَمَلَتْهُ
তাকে গর্ভেধারণ করেছে
Carried him
Carried him
أُمُّهُۥ
তার মা
his mother
his mother
كُرْهًا
কষ্ট করে
(with) hardship
(with) hardship
وَوَضَعَتْهُ
ও তাকে প্রসব করেছে
and gave birth to him
and gave birth to him
كُرْهًا
কষ্টে
(with) hardship
(with) hardship
وَحَمْلُهُۥ
এবং তার গর্ভধারণ
And (the) bearing of him
And (the) bearing of him
وَفِصَٰلُهُۥ
ও তার দুধ ছাড়ানোর মেয়াদ
and (the) weaning of him
and (the) weaning of him
ثَلَٰثُونَ
ত্রিশ
(is) thirty

شَهْرًا

month(s)

حَتَّىٰٓ
এমনকি

إِذَا
যখন

بَلَغَ
সে পৌঁছে

أَشُدَّهُۥ
তার পূর্ণশক্তিতে/ তার যৌবন বয়সে

وَبَلَغَ
ও পৌঁছে (বয়স)
and reaches

أَرْبَعِينَ
চল্লিশ

বছরে

আমাকে সামর্থ্য দাও

نِعْمَتَكَ
তোমার অনুগ্রহের

তুমি অনুগ্রহ দান করেছ

عَلَىَّ
আমার উপর
upon me

وَعَلَىٰ
ও উপর

وَٰلِدَىَّ
আমার পিতা-মাতার
my parents

وَأَنْ
এবং যেন

أَعْمَلَ
আমি কাজ করি

صَٰلِحًا
সৎকর্ম
righteous (deeds)

تَرْضَىٰهُ
যা পছন্দ কর তুমি
which please You

وَأَصْلِحْ
এবং যোগ্যতা সৃষ্টি করে দাও
and make righteous

لِى
আমার জন্যে

فِى
মধ্যে

ذُرِّيَّتِىٓ
আমার সন্তানদের

إِنِّى
আমি নিশ্চয়ই
indeed

تُبْتُ
তওবা করছি

إِلَيْكَ
তোমার কাছে

وَإِنِّى
এবং আমি নিশ্চয়ই

مِنَ
অন্তর্ভুক্ত

ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
আত্মসমর্পণকারীদের"
those who submit"

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
ঐসব লোক
Those

ٱلَّذِينَ
(তারাই) যাদের
(are) the ones
(are) the ones
نَتَقَبَّلُ
আমরা গ্রহণ করি
We will accept
We will accept
عَنْهُمْ
তাদের থেকে
from them
from them
أَحْسَنَ
সর্বোত্তম
(the) best
(the) best
مَا
যা
(of) what
(of) what
عَمِلُوا۟
তারা কাজ করেছে
they did
they did
وَنَتَجَاوَزُ
এবং আমরা মার্জনা করি
and We will overlook

عَن
যে
from

سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ
তাদের মন্দকাজগুলোকে
their evil deeds
their evil deeds
فِىٓ
হতে

أَصْحَٰبِ
অধিবাসীদের
(the) companions
(the) companions
ٱلْجَنَّةِ
জান্নাতের
(of) Paradise
(of) Paradise
وَعْدَ
প্রতিশ্রুতি

ٱلصِّدْقِ
সত্য

ٱلَّذِى
যা

كَانُوا۟
দেওয়া হয়েছিল

يُوعَدُونَ
তাদের প্রতিশ্রুতি

وَٱلَّذِى
এবং যে

لِوَٰلِدَيْهِ
তার পিতামাতাকে
to his parents

أُفٍّ
"ধিক (আফসোস)

لَّكُمَآ
তোমাদের দু'জনের জন্যে
to both of you!

أَتَعِدَانِنِىٓ
আমাকে কি তোমরা ভয় দেখাচ্ছ

أَنْ
যে

أُخْرَجَ
আমাকে বের করে আনা হবে
I will be brought forth

وَقَدْ
অথচ নিশ্চয়ই
and have already passed away

خَلَتِ
অতীত হয়েছে

ٱلْقُرُونُ
বহু জনগোষ্ঠী

مِن

before me?"

قَبْلِى
আমার পূর্বে"

وَهُمَا
এবং তারা দু'জন

يَسْتَغِيثَانِ
ফরিয়াদ করে
seek help

ٱللَّهَ
আল্লাহর কাছে (এবং বলে)
(of) Allah

وَيْلَكَ
"তোমার জন্যে দুর্ভোগ
"Woe to you!
"Woe to you!
ءَامِنْ
ঈমান আন
Believe!
Believe!
إِنَّ
নিশ্চয়ই

وَعْدَ
প্রতিশ্রুতি
(the) Promise

ٱللَّهِ
আল্লাহর

حَقٌّ
সত্য"

فَيَقُولُ
অতঃপর সে বলে

উপকথা সমূহ
(the) stories
(the) stories
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
পুরাতনকালের লোকদের"
(of) the former (people)"
(of) the former (people)"

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
ঐসব লোক

ٱلَّذِينَ
তারাই
(are) the ones
(are) the ones
حَقَّ
অবধারিত হয়েছে
(has) proved true
(has) proved true
عَلَيْهِمُ
তাদের উপর
against them
against them
ٱلْقَوْلُ
(আল্লাহর) বাণী

فِىٓ
(তারা হবে) অন্তর্ভুক্ত

أُمَمٍ
(শাস্তিপ্রাপ্ত) সম্প্রদায়গুলোর

অবশ্যই

(যারা) অতীত হয়েছে

مِن
মধ্য হতে

তাদের পূর্বে

وَٱلْإِنسِ
ও মানুষের

إِنَّهُمْ
তারা নিশ্চয়ই

كَانُوا۟
তারা ছিল

خَٰسِرِينَ
ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত
(the) losers

১৯
وَلِكُلٍّ
এবং প্রত্যেকের জন্যে
And for all

دَرَجَٰتٌ
মর্যাদা (রয়েছে)
(are) degrees
(are) degrees
مِّمَّا
তা হতে যা
for what
for what
عَمِلُوا۟
তারা কাজ করেছে
they did
they did
وَلِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ
এবং তাদেরকে যেন পূর্ণ দেন
and that He may fully compensate them
and that He may fully compensate them
أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
তাদের কাজের (প্রতিফল)
(for) their deeds
(for) their deeds
وَهُمْ
এবং তাদের (উপর)
and they
and they
لَا
না
will not be wronged
will not be wronged
يُظْلَمُونَ
অবিচার করা হবে
will not be wronged
will not be wronged

وَيَوْمَ
এবং যেদিন
And (the) Day

يُعْرَضُ
উপস্থিত করা হবে
will be exposed

ٱلَّذِينَ
(তাদেরকে) যারা
