পরিচ্ছেদঃ ২৫০: দো‘আর গুরুত্ব ও মাহাত্ম্য এবং নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর কতিপয় দো‘আর নমুনা
৩/১৪৭৫। আনাস রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর অধিকাংশ দো’আ এই হত, ’আল্লাহুম্মা আ-তিনা ফিদ্দুন্য়্যা হাসানাহ, অফিল আ-খিরাতে হাসানাহ, অক্বিনা আযাবান্নার।’ অর্থাৎ হে আল্লাহ! আমাদেরকে ইহকালে কল্যাণ দাও এবং পরকালেও কল্যাণ দাও। আর জাহান্নামের আযাব থেকে আমাদেরকে বাঁচাও। (বুখারী ও মুসলিম) [1]
মুসলিমের অন্য বর্ণনায় বর্ধিত আকারে আছে, আনাস রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু যখন একটি দো’আ করার ইচ্ছা করতেন, তখন ঐ দো’আ করতেন। আবার যখন (বিভিন্ন) দো’আ করার ইচ্ছা করতেন, তখন তার মাঝেও ঐ দো’আ করতেন।
(250) بَابُ فَضْلِ الدُّعَاءِ
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ رضي الله عنه قَالَ: كَانَ أَكثَرُ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: «اَللهم آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً، وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ» متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ .
زاد مسلم في روايتهِ قَالَ: وَكَانَ أَنَسٌ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ بِدَعْوَةٍ دَعَا بِهَا، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ بِدُعَاءٍ دَعَا بِهَا فِيهِ.
(250) Chapter: Issues regarding Supplications, their Virtues and Supplications of the Prophet (pbuh)
Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The supplication most often recited by the Prophet (ﷺ) was: "Allahumma atina fid-dunya hasanatan, wa fil-akhirati hasanatan, wa qina 'adhab-annar (O our Rubb! give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the punishment of the Fire)."'
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
In the narration of Muslim it is added that whenever Anas supplicated, he used to beseech Allah with this Du'a.
Commentary: It is desirable to recite this Du`a which is mentioned in the Qur'an (2:201) and which comprehends all that is good both in this life and the Hereafter. The Prophet (PBUH) made it a habit to recite this Du`a, and the Companions were eager to follow him in all his words and actions.
