পরিচ্ছেদঃ ১৯৭: ফজরের দু’ রাকআত সুন্নত হাল্কা পড়া, তাতে কি সূরা পড়া হয় এবং তার সময় কি?
৪/১১১৪। ইবনে আব্বাস রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, আল্লাহর রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ফজরের সুন্নত নামাযের প্রথম রাকআতে ’ক্বূলূ আমান্না বিল্লাহি অমা উনযিলা ইলাইনা’ (১৩৬নং) শেষ আয়াত পর্যন্ত - যেটি সূরা বাকারায় আছে - পাঠ করতেন। আর তার দ্বিতীয় রাকআতে ’আমান্না বিল্লাহি অশহাদ বিআন্না মুসলিমূন’ (আলে ইমরানের ৫২নং আয়াত) পড়তেন।
অন্য বর্ণনায় আছে, দ্বিতীয় রাকআতে আলে-ইমরানের (৬৪নং আয়াত) ’তাআলাউ ইলা কালিমাতিন সাওয়াইন বাইনানা অবাইনাকুম’ পাঠ করতেন। (মুসলিম)[1]
(197) بَابُ تَخْفِيْفِ رَكْعَتَي الْفَجْرِ وَبَيَانِ مَا يُقْرَأُ فِيْهِمَا، وَبَيَانِ وَقْتِهِمَا
وَعَنِ ابنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي رَكْعَتَي الفَجْرِ فِي الأُولَى مِنْهُمَا: ﴿ قولوا آمنا بالله وما أنزل إلينا﴾ [البقرة: ١٣٦] الآيَةَ الَّتِي فِي البَقَرَةِ، وَفِي الآخِرَةِ مِنْهُمَا: ﴿آمنا بالله واشهد بأنا مسلمون﴾ [ال عمران: ٥٢] . وفي رواية: وَفِي الآخِرَةِ الَّتي فِي آلِ عِمْرَانَ: ﴿تعالوا إلى كلمة سواء بيننا وبينكم﴾ [ال عمران: ٦٤]
(197) Chapter: Briefness to be Adopted in Performing the two Rak'ah Sunnah before Fajr Prayer, their time and the Surah to recite in them
Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite during the two Rak'ah of Fajr prayer: "Say (O Muslims): We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us..." (2:136) which is in Surat Al-Baqarah in the first Rak'ah and the Verse: "We believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e., we submit to Allah." (3:52) in the second Rak'ah.
According to another narration, he (ﷺ) recited from Surat Al-'Imran the Verses: "Come to a word which is just between us and you..." (3:64).

Commentary: In the two Sunnah of Fajr prayer, the Prophet (PBUH) used to recite the two short Verses mentioned in this Hadith, after Surat Al-Fatihah.
