পরিচ্ছেদঃ ১৮৯: মসজিদে যাওয়ার ফযীলত
৭/১০৬৬। আবূ হুরাইরা রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম (একদা সমবেত সহচরদের উদ্দেশ্যে) বললেন, “তোমাদেরকে এমন একটি কাজ বলে দেব না কি, যার দ্বারা আল্লাহ গোনাহসমূহকে মোচন করে দেবেন এবং (জান্নাতে) তার দ্বারা মর্যাদা বৃদ্ধি করবেন?” তাঁরা বললেন, ’অবশ্যই, হে আল্লাহ রাসূল!’ তিনি বললেন, “(তা হচ্ছে) কষ্টকর অবস্থায় পরি পূর্ণরূপে ওযু করা, অধিক মাত্রায় মসজিদে গমন করা এবং এক অক্তের নামায আদায় করে পরবর্তী অক্তের নামাযের জন্য প্রতীক্ষা করা। আর এ হল প্রতিরক্ষা বাহিনীর মত কাজ। এ হল প্রতিরক্ষা বাহিনীর মত কাজ।” (মুসলিম) [1]
(189) بَابُ فَضْلِ الْمَشْيِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيرَةَ رضي الله عنه: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى الله عليه وسلم، قَالَ: «أَلاَ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَمْحُو اللهُ بِهِ الخَطَايَا، وَيَرْفَعُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ؟» قَالُوا: بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ؟ قَالَ: «إِسْبَاغُ الوُضُوءِ عَلَى المَكَارِهِ، وَكَثْرَةُ الخُطَا إلَى المَسَاجِدِ، وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلاَةِ، فَذَلِكُمُ الرِّبَاطُ، فذَلِكُمُ الرِّبَاطُ». رواه مسلِم
(189) Chapter: The Excellence of Proceeding towards the Mosque Walking
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Shall I not tell you something by which Allah effaces the sins and elevates the ranks (in Jannah)." The Companions said: "Yes (please tell us), O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Performing the Wudu' properly in spite of difficult circumstances, walking with more paces to the mosque, and waiting for the next Salat (prayer) after a observing Salat; and that is Ar-Ribat, and that is Ar-Ribat."

Commentary: This Hadith has already been mentioned. It has been repeated here to show that meticulous care in respect of purification, Salat and worship is akin to Jihad for the sake of Allah, and fight against the enemy in the battlefield. See the commentary on Hadith No.1030.
