পরিচ্ছেদঃ ১৮৮: ফজর ও আসরের নামাযের ফযীলত
৫/১০৫৮। জারীর ইবনে আব্দুল্লাহ বাজালী রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, আমরা নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নিকট পূর্ণিমার রাতে বসে ছিলাম। তিনি চাঁদের দিকে তাকিয়ে বললেন, “নিঃসন্দেহে তোমরা (পরকালে) তোমাদের প্রতিপালককে ঠিক এইভাবে দর্শন করবে, যেভাবে তোমরা এই পূর্ণিমার চাঁদ দর্শন করছ। তাঁকে দেখতে তোমাদের কোনো অসুবিধা হবে না। সুতরাং যদি তোমরা সূর্যোদয় ও সূর্যাস্তের আগে (নিয়মিত) নামায পড়তে পরাহত না হতে সক্ষম হও (অর্থাৎ এ নামায ছুটে না যায়), তাহলে অবশ্যই তা বাস্তবায়ন কর।” (বুখারী, মুসলিম) [1] অন্য বর্ণনায় আছে, তিনি চৌদ্দ তারিখের রাতের চাঁদের দিকে দৃষ্টি নিক্ষেপ করে বললেন---।
(188) بَابُ فَضْلِ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ وَالْعَصْرِ
وَعَنْ جَرِيرِ بنِ عَبدِ الله البَجَليِّ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: كُنَّا عِنْدَ النبيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَنَظَرَ إِلَى القَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ البَدْرِ، فَقَالَ: «إنَّكُمْ سَتَرَونَ رَبَّكُمْ كَمَا تَرَوْنَ هَذَا القَمَرَ، لاَ تُضَامُونَ في رُؤْيَتهِ، فَإنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ لاَ تُغْلَبُوا عَلَى صَلاَةٍ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا، فَافْعَلُوا» متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ . وفي رواية: فَنَظَرَ إِلَى القَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ أرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ
(188) Chapter: Excellence of the Morning (Fajr) and 'Asr Prayers
Jarir bin 'Abdullah Al-Bajali (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he looked at the full moon and observed, "You will see your Rubb in the Hereafter as you see this moon having no difficulty in seeing it. So try your best to perform the prayers before the rising of the sun and that before its setting."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary: This Hadith tells us that no one can see Allah in this world but in the Hereafter, the believers will have the honour of seeing Allah. It also highlights the importance and merits of performing the Fajr and `Asr prayers punctually and in congregation.
