পরিচ্ছেদঃ ৬০: দানশীলতা এবং আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা করে পুণ্য কাজে ব্যয় করার বিবরণ
১৬/৫৬৪। আসমা বিনতে আবূ বকর (রাদিয়াল্লাহু ’আনহুমা) বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাকে বললেন, ’’তুমি সম্পদ বেঁধে (জমা করে) রেখো না, এরূপ করলে তোমার নিকট (আসা থেকে) তা বেঁধে রাখা হবে।’’ অন্য এক বর্ণনায় আছে, ’’খরচ কর, অথবা ছেড়ে দাও, অথবা প্রবাহমান কর, গুনে গুনে রেখো না, এরূপ করলে আল্লাহও তোমাকে গুনে গুনে দেবেন। আর তুমি জমা করে রেখো না, এরূপ করলে আল্লাহও তোমার প্রতি (খরচ না করে) জমা করে রাখবেন।’’ (বুখারী ও মুসলিম) [1]
بَابُ الْكَرَمِ وَالْجُوْدِ وَالْإِنْفَاقِ فِيْ وُجُوْهِ الْخَيْرِثِقَةًمبِاللهِ تَعَالٰى - (60)
وَعَن أَسمَاءَ بِنتِ أَبي بَكرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنهُمَا، قَالَت: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى الله عليه وسلم: «لاَ تُوكِي فَيُوكَى عَلَيْكِ». وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «أنفقي أَوِ انْفَحِي، أَوْ انْضَحِي، وَلاَ تُحصِي فَيُحْصِي اللهُ عَلَيْكِ، وَلاَ تُوعي فَيُوعي اللهُ عَلَيْكِ ». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ
(60) Chapter: Excellence of Generosity and Spending in a Good cause with Reliance on Allah
Asma' bint Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with her) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me, "Do not hoard; otherwise, Allah will withhold from you."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary: Herein is enshrined a Divine principle; His Retribution is determined by the kind of things done by man. A proverb may be quoted to this effect, "As you sow, so shall you reap''. If we spend a lot in the way of Allah, He will also recompense us a lot. And if we stint spending in His way, He will dispense sustenance to us with restrain, too. If we accumulate wealth in a miserly fashion and avoid spending it in the way of Allah, He will also restrain the flow of His bounty to us. To sum up, the Hadith inspires us to generously spend money in the way of Allah and also sternly warns us of the consequences of stinginess and parsimony.
