Bismillah Was-salatu Was-salamu Ala Rasulillah.

The Prophet (Salla Allahu Alayhi wa-Sallam did not say anything before Takbiratul-Ihram. It is not authentically proven that he (SAAS) said something before begining the salat. In a hadith recorded by al-Bukhari and Muslim, the Prophet (SAAS) said,

"when you stand to pray, perform proper Wudhu and then face Qiblah and recite Takbir." He would recite the opening supplications [du'a iftitah] after the Takbiratul-Ihram. There are many opening supplications and one of them is wajjahtu wajhiya lilladhi.
In Sahih Muslim [1695] and other Books of Hadith it was narrated by Ali ibn Abi Talib [RAA] that whenever the Messenger [SAAS] of Allah stood up up for prayer he recited

Some people understood from this narration that Allah's Messenger [SAAS] said this whenever he stood up for salat. the reality is, he [SAAS] said it after he stood up to salat and said takbiratul Ihram. That is proven from another narration in Sahih Muslim [1695]. A'raj reported that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would start the prayer, he would pronounce takbir (Allah-o-Akbar) and then say:

So it is proven that Rasulullah [SAAS] said Wajjahtu Wajhiya after Takbiratul Ihram.
