পরিচ্ছেদঃ ২৪৪: যিকির তথা আল্লাহকে স্মরণ করার ফযীলত ও তার প্রতি উৎসাহ দান
৩০/১৪৪৫। জাবের রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, আমি আল্লাহর রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছি যে, “সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ যিকির হচ্ছে ’লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ।” (তিরমিযী হাসান) [1]
(244) بَابُ فَضْلِ الذِّكْرِ وَالْحَثِّ عَلَيْهِ
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ رضي الله عنه قَالَ: سَمِعتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى الله عليه وسلم، يَقُولُ: «أَفْضَلُ الذِّكْرِ: لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ» . رواه الترمذي، وقال: حديث حسن
(244) Chapter: The Excellence of the Remembrance of Allah
Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "The best way to celebrate the remembrance of Allah is to say: La ilaha illallah (there is no true god except Allah)."
[At-Tirmidhi].
Commentary: Since the Shahadah is the basis of Islam, its repetition in abundance has the greatest eminence. Some religious scholars regard only La ilaha illallah as eminent, while others hold that the second part of it (Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah) is also included in it. Thus, in their opinion both these parts of the Shahadah should be
recited together.
